Opened in 2001, the five-building Royal Palm South Beach (formerly Royal Palm Crowne Plaza) consists of two meticulously restored Art Deco hotels and two modern towers designed by the renowned architectural firm Arquitectonica. The guests are an equal mix of business travelers and vacationers, primarily couples and singles. The Royal Palm claims to be among the country's first and largest African-American owned and developed hotels.
The Royal Palm South Beach is 1 mile from Lincoln Road Mall, a bustling pedestrian mall that's home to a wide selection of shops, restaurants, and cafés, along with a multiplex cinema and a symphony hall. It's a great place to wander and people-watch. On weekends in-season, the mall hosts an antiques market and a farmers' market.
Special Offer: This hotel offers a 3rd night FREE from December 28, 2008 - January 31, 2009.
Parking: The hotel charges $39.00 + Tax per car, per night (subject to change without prior notice).
Island Oasis - A poolside bar serving pizza, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and tropical cocktails. Open from mid-morning until early evening.
Deco Lounge/Sunrise Café - Coffee and pastries are available in the morning; cocktails are served from late afternoon until late evening.
An outdoor, beachfront, covered fitness area includes a treadmill, stair machine, strength-training equipment, and free weights. A children’s play area is also available.
