Two-seater, open-air electric cars can be rented at the resort for tootling to attractions and waterfront sunset rituals downtown, all within 3 miles

Beach House - Informal restaurant overlooking the pool. Indoor air-conditioned dining room with booths, covered terrace tables cooled by ceiling fans. Buffet and à la carte breakfast. Lunch and dinner include sandwiches, salads, seafood, steaks, signature Spicy Conch Bisque. Open early morning until late evening.

Cabana Bar - Wood gazebo located on deck near pool. Salads, sandwiches, snacks, light meals, tropical drinks. Open from lunchtime until late night.

Recreation

Across the street from the resort on Smathers Beach, umbrellas and beach chairs are available for rent from private vendors. A water-activities center rents Jet Skis, sailboats, kayaks, snorkel sets, and other gear. Parasailing is also available for a fee. Rooms

The resort has 180 suites in a four-story building with a ground-floor breezeway. Some guestrooms overlook the central garden courtyard and pool area. All suites feature the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, which consists of a custom-designed box spring and pillow-top mattress, triple sheeting, two non-allergenic and two down pillows, a decorative pillow, and a poly/down comforter. Decor in the suites' two rooms—separated by sliding doors—includes island-style furnishings and colorful drapes.
