The 10-story Marriott Suites Clearwater Beach, located on 7 acres of Sand Key, towers high above Clearwater Bay.

In the two-story lobby with its Art Deco design, arriving guests enjoy panoramic views of the bay and pool. A curved wooden staircase leads to the hotel’s second floor. Live music plays nightly in the Water Colour Lounge overlooking the bay. The clientele consists mostly of vacationers.

 

Lisa, the hotel’s blue-and-gold macaw perches in the lobby. The children’s center, Lisa’s Clubhouse, was named after her. In addition, George, a very friendly egret, often visits guests relaxing poolside. Dolphin sightings on Clearwater Bay are frequent.

Water Colour Steakhouse and Grille - This Art Deco-style restaurant offers panoramic views of Clearwater Bay. Breakfast buffet daily. Lunch favorites include crab cakes, grouper, and Cuban sandwiches. Dinner menu includes steaks and fresh seafood. In the adjacent lounge, guests can order from the restaurant menu and live music plays nightly.

Kokomo’s - Located poolside on Clearwater Bay, this lively outdoor bar serves tropical drinks, sandwiches, chicken strips, and burgers. Live music daily (seasonal).

A grotto-style outdoor pool with waterfalls, spa tub, and children’s pool overlooks the bay. Watercraft rentals, including parasails, kayaks, and wave runners, are available at the boardwalk pier located just beyond the hotel’s poolside bar. For children age 5–12, supervised activities include movies, arts and crafts, and pool games (surcharge). A sand volleyball court is located poolside. A fitness center overlooks the bay and includes treadmills, circuit machines, stair master, and free weights. Rental bikes are available.

The l8-hole Belleview Biltmore Golf Course is within 7 miles of the hotel. Boat launches and rentals are available at the Clearwater Marina 3 miles away.
