Canyon de Chelly, a geological and historical wonder, is Chinle’s greatest scenic attraction. Thirty miles south of Chinle
is Ganado, site of Arizona’s most famous Indian trading post, Hubbell’s. In operation for nearly a century, it is designated
a National Historic Site. Hubbell’s and other reservation trading posts sell handcrafted Navajo silver jewelry and hand-woven
woolen rugs. Fishing is excellent at nearby lakes. Other area attractions include Window Rock, Navajo Tribe headquarters;
the Painted Desert, Petrified Forest National Monument and Monument Valley.

Holiday Inn Canyon de Chelly is located at the gateway to the Canyon de Chelly National Monument, the 2nd largest canyon
in the United States! Just minutes from the canyon, you can tour the area with one of the local tour guides or you may do
a self-guided tour of the canyon look-out points. The canyon has a total of 11 look-out points, all which have views of ancient
ruins, petroglyphs, and pictographs.
The hotel is a part of the historic Garcia's Trading Post located in the heart
of the Navajo Nation Reservation. Children 12 and under eat for free when parents purchase an entrée.
